1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorooctyltrimethoxysilane

Fluorinated alkyl silane with a shorter perfluoroalkyl chain than the perfluorodecyl grades already in the range. Gives low surface energy and water/oil repellency with faster cure than the corresponding triethoxy grade, at a somewhat higher surface tension than the longer-chain versions.
