Reinforcing Fabrics
Fabrics and mesh for liquid-applied waterproofing and roof coatings.
A liquid-applied coating stretches and cures into a film, but the film alone carries no tensile strength. Embedding a reinforcing fabric in the wet coat is what lets the cured system carry tensile load and bridge movement at cracks, seams and joints, instead of relying on film thickness alone — the fabric is part of the waterproofing system, not an accessory to it. ACSIC supplies PET nonwoven, fiberglass mesh and composite fiberglass tissue constructions, each supplied in roll form for use with cold-applied liquid waterproofing and roof coating systems.
Subcategories
PET Nonwoven Fabric
Nonwoven polyester (PET) fabric supplied in roll form as the reinforcing layer inside liquid-applied waterproofing and roof coating systems. Embedded in the wet coating, it carries tensile load and bridges movement at seams, laps and detail work that the liquid film alone cannot span.
View products →Fiberglass Mesh
Open-weave fiberglass mesh supplied in roll form as a reinforcing layer for liquid-applied waterproofing and roof coating systems. Set into the wet coating, the glass yarn grid adds dimensional stability and crack-bridging strength at seams, penetrations and detail work.
View products →Fiberglass Tissue
Composite fiberglass tissue laminated with a mesh scrim, supplied in roll form as a reinforcing layer for liquid-applied waterproofing and roof coating systems. The tissue face gives a smooth, uniform surface for the coating to wet out, while the mesh layer carries the tensile load.
