Silicones & Silane-Modified Polymers

Silicone fluids, rubber, resins and silane-modified polymers.

Silicones

ACSIC's silicone portfolio covers the full spectrum of silicone chemistry — from base polymers and fluids to high-consistency rubbers and liquid silicone systems. Our silicones deliver thermal stability, chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and biocompatibility across demanding applications.

Silane-Modified Polymers

Silane-terminated polyethers (MS) are hybrid polymers that combine the flexibility of polyether backbones with the reactivity of alkoxysilane end groups. They cure with atmospheric moisture at room temperature — no isocyanate, no solvent — delivering outstanding mechanical properties, broad substrate adhesion, and a paintable surface after cure. Sealants and adhesives based on silane-modified polymers resist staining, pick up less dirt than silicone sealants, are low-VOC, and are compatible with most construction substrates including glass, metal, concrete, and natural stone. ACSIC's expertise in silane end-group chemistry enables custom molecular weight and functionality configurations on request.
