3-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane

Epoxy functional silane coupling agent and adhesion promoter. Glycidoxy functional silane. The oxirane ring reacts with amines, anhydrides and carboxyl groups, which makes it compatible with almost every thermoset chemistry. Improves wet adhesion, mechanical strength and hydrolytic durability, particularly on glass, metal oxides and mineral fillers. Trimethoxy grade — hydrolyzes faster than the triethoxy analogue, releasing methanol.
