Methylvinyldiacetoxysilane

Acetoxy functional silane crosslinker for one-component condensation-cure silicone sealants. Fast skin-over and through-cure; releases acetic acid, so it is not recommended on concrete, marble or bare metals sensitive to acid. The vinyl group gives faster cure and better adhesion to plastics than the methyl analogue. Difunctional, with two acetoxy groups — lower crosslink density than the trifunctional grade.
