Phenyltris(isopropenyloxy)silane

Phenyl functional silane with isopropenoxy (acetone-releasing) leaving groups instead of the more common alkoxy or oxime groups. Cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture, releasing acetone rather than alcohol, ketoxime or acetic acid — a neutral, low-odor crosslinker for one-component RTV silicone rubber, well suited to electronics and LED encapsulation where a non-corrosive, low-color cure is needed.
