Description
Alkyl alkoxy silane used as a surface modifier and hydrophobing agent. The branched isobutyl group balances hydrophobicity with good penetration into porous mineral substrates. Releases ethanol on hydrolysis; slower reacting and preferred where methanol must be avoided.
